SUBJECT: FIRST NATIONAL PARTY FOR THE GREEN VOLUNTEERS - MODENA (PONTE ALTO FACILITIES) 19-20-21 JUNE 1998.

REQUEST FOR PARTECIPATION SUBMISSION FORM.

From 19 to 21 June, 1998, the First National Green Volunteers Party will be held in Modena, Italy, organised by the Guardie Ecologiche Volontarie (GEV – Volunteer Ecological Guards) belonging to the FEDERGEV Italian federation.

The party will host:

1. National Congresses and Talks about: pollution monitoring, surveillance service, Volunteers-to-National Institutions connection and risk-free progress;
2. Shows and movies on Nature protection, Parks and Natural Reserves, Biodiversity, Ecological emergencies, Volunteers’ activities, etc;
3. Theatrical events focusing on Man and Nature;
4. Music Concerts on nature themes.

Room is provided for Italian and Foreigner Green Volunteers Associations, for the different GEV groups, and exposition stands are kept for Corporations, Agencies, Firms, Enterprises working or involved in ecological activities.

A camping will be erected for any volunteer wishing to spend more than a day at the Party.

Targets of the Party are:

1. To spread and popularise Green Volunteers’ activities and values;
2. To develop the exchange and connection with the State Administration, both locally and nationally;
3. To enhance the exchange of experience among volunteers;
4. To summarise the current situation of Italian Nature’s wealth.

Given the extreme importance of the Party, all Ecological, Naturalistic, or Nature – involved Associations are the welcome and are invited to take part in it. If forced to miss the Party, any of the told associations may send its own illustrative material, teaching equipment or what else to divulge its activities and projects.
